For Simi Katragadda and Vinni Trehan, the best way to toast at their wedding was with a Penicillin cocktail. And why is that? Because, just over two years ago, the two love birds met sipping the same drink in Manhattan’s Soho neighbourhood. Simi recalls, “It was a six-and-a-half-hour magical evening over a few cocktails, lots of banter and a delicious meal and we never looked back.”

Before the wedding

The Wedding

Simi dressed up in a beautiful multi-colored lehenga with gold embroidery by talented designers, Rimple & Harpreet. With peacock motif and floral patterns on the tulle dupatta, Simi looked like an absolutely gorgeous bride. She got her wedding shoes from Tamara Mellon while Stacie Ford did the perfect bridal makeup.

On the other hand, Vinni looked charming and a handsome groom in a royal blue sherwani by Rimple & Harpreet and Anita Dongre.

The baraati gathered at the B Bar and made their way to the hotel where Simi’s family received them.

The couple chose to do a first look at The Bowery Hotel before they could begin with the wedding ceremony.

After that, the two tied the knot in holy matrimony under a floral-covered mandap and circle around the sacred fire for the seven vows as man and wife.

The Reception

For her reception, Simi changed into a gold-hued tulle lehenga by Rimple & Harpreet. While Vinni opted for a Boglioli tuxedo and tuxedo shirt and accented with a Tom Ford bow tie and Rolex.
