The Pre-Wedding Bash!
The pre-wedding festivities of Yash and Benaisha begin on March 1st at the main wedding venue, i.e., JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Groove Resort and Spa. The couple coordinated their outfits for the carnival-themed brunch in floral prints and matched the pastel-hued floral decorations.
For the Sangeet, Benaisha wore a forest green lehenga embellished with intricate hand-painted pichhwai work and Yash chose to twin her blushing bride in a hand-painted pichhwai sherwani with nature motifs to match
While the couple had officiated their wedding in a marriage registrar on 25th February 2019, but the traditional ceremonies took place on 3rd March 2019. The festivities commenced with a ‘baraat’ where Yash, the groom made an entry with his groomsmen in coordinated outfits.
The bride, Benaisha chose to walk down the aisle with her father and want to mark the union of Hindu and Zoroastrian faiths.
Benaisha always wanted pink, so Anita Dongre designed a custom gotta Patti lehenga which was handcrafted in Rajasthan. The bride’s favorite quote was embroidered on her lehenga which was, ‘When I saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.’ and our groom wore a mint green sherwani and a pink saffa.
